Hello everyone, I just learned the existence of the PPI and I think we really need to get the canadian party going. I live in quebec city and could represent here. It wouldnt be very hard to get support in canada, some of these law are easy to prove stupid...

It need to change, the most it goes and the most our gouv wants to get the same law than american, we cant let that hapens!

We really need to get moving, anyone got an answer from the guy with the pirateparty.ca website? if not we'll just have to get another one.

I think a good first step would be setting up a website.

I am all for it but I am young, poor, and live with my mother, so i cant realy host a website.

Would it be possible to get one that simply uses the maple leaf shape, without the skull graphic?

So the pirateparty.ca site still doesn't work, and we haven't heard any news on here or elsewhere.

Any suggestions for other possible domains to look into would be most welcome.

Ok we really need to get this stuff going. The logo with the flag is good. The one with the skull while sick, is not really election material.

We need a to get a site up and runing.

We need to regester the Party, so that we can get money to help keep the site up.

We need people to leave contact info, so we can talk, plan our way to getting this party going.

Hello People,

I've just joined up with the movement here in Canada. I'm also from Quebec were it seems alot of pirates are breeding (yarr!).

From what I see we are stuck at the "website" stage and I bring good news for you all. I happen to have a sideline of hosting stuff for friends and small clients. This means that I have a dedicated linux server that I can run whatever we need on it. It would even be possible to host eMail (google apps based), wikis, wordpress and whats not.

Depending on the amount of traffic generated, I can donate the first chunk then we can either go with "party donations" to fund or I can try and put google ads and see if that covers the bills.

I guess the only thing i need now is an update on the pirateparty.ca debacle. Whoever is hosting it can either point to my server's IP or transfer it to me (I can afford 10$ a year).

Im from bc, and im sure i can gather more followers if we can get the site up or atleast a temp site up... i program in php and mysql if any help if needed for the site, would love to try and offer some form of help.

Toranto is not a country, it is part of canada, so if canada has a Pirate Party then Toranto belongs to it, that is if anyone in Toranto joins the Canada Pirate Party.
