How about an action Hand-in-Hand

United States Bureau of Customs and Border Protection Passenger
Name Records

O.K. - I´m not quite sure about in wich forum I should post this - so I do it here.

Since end of september there is no legal reason why any data about EU-passengers should reach the boureau in the US (mentioned above). It´s illegal - the time-out to make any corrections is over from 1.10.2006 on.

How about a campaign against - with all PP´s involved with press releases and/or actions ?

Sounds like a good idea. European countries shouldn't give information about their citizens to countries who have been known to "randomly"* arrest people and lock them up without a trial and who allows torture.
So stand your ground! - Choose your direction!
Who will decide?
Facing the facts - The lie!
Who will decide?
These are the victims - These are the crimes!
Who will decide?
If you give up the fight...
Who will decide?

The EU-judgement has already said that its illegal - and gave a time-out up to end of september for changing laws or not-doing-it-further-on.

Nothing happened - so it´s illegal. But all airlines in the EU still do it. What you eat - what(if) car you order after landing - hotel-reservations and so on and on and on (validatet kredit-card-numbers....and...and...and). All the airlines know - the US-departement knows it too.

----BEFORE you are in the air - or even at the airport at home.

I had no idea that that was going on in EU countries. We definitely need to do something (and I need to read the news more often :) )

sounds nice. but i'm swamped with work. so: if you prepare stuff i can help in spreading the word. but i can't write a press release on my own. i'm busy preparing other important things..

*rofl*

Christof said just nearly the same.... "happy if you do it aloa "

So I will have a look this weekend getting some more informations. But I would be happy if other PP´s would say that they are interested in spreading it out - so that the beginning can be "We - the PP´s in Europe..." .

...and somebody could help me later to make a nice translation - in an english others understand :D

I can not promise to finish the work - but I will try to.
