Florian - things are looking up for what could be called the Pirate-Liberal bloc. Our main competitors - the Greens - have made complete fools out of themselves already, more than a month before the elections. The Greens are campaigning with a Law-and-Order agenda, claiming more policemen and prison guards and soon probably more electronic surveillance too to keep the citizens safe. An unforced error!

The other parties are all targeting the senior citizens which leaves the field empty for us I guess. :D :D :D

Thanks Florian. There are actually some really good people in the Greens. They are probably furious at their ex-stalinist party bosses for trying to brown-nose the suburbian voters like this. The party is trying to sell itself to the greenwashers who are scared to death that some hippie will accidentally scratch their low-emission car while they shop for eco-food at the supermarket. This will kill the Green movement for good.

Too bad the deadline for candidacy passed yesterday. Now those pirates who are candidates for the Greens can join us only after the election.

Hello again! Just thought I could update you a little bit with some campaign news.

The Greens continue to be a problem. They have always known how to manipulate the wannabe intellectual vote here in Helsinki. The Sanoma media conglomerate of Mr Erkko - our Berlusconi - is sponsoring a Green candidate who has his own radio talk show in one of ErkkoÅ› radio stations here in the city.

Can you get me a plane ticket to Vienna? I will pay you back from my first paycheck at the Parliament.

Florian - my feeling is that it is going to be a LANDSLIDE VICTORY for the pirates and liberals in Finland. The most obvious sign is that the political parties of the copyright mafia are making desperate efforts to portray themselves as liberals. They probably have internal research information showing that liberalism is on the rise.

They are not fooling anyone though...
