woodstock stop festival 2007 (Poland 3-4 august) - lets go!

1. it is FREE as FREE BEER (but beer there isnt free - but still very chip)
2. HUGE - 200 000 ppl
3. 3-4 august in Kostrzyn near Odra river (near German border - road 1 for Seelow east to border - goodle maps shows like this )
4. Ive send mail to organistators if we can go officaly 0- but they cant throw us from the tent field.
5. We can train talking to ppl there and collect some signatures if we need.
6 . BANDS that will play: Type O Negative (from band all should know), rest are rock and fols mainly Polish artists (they still dont know exacly - I will post here is they will knew that).

What u think? The idea apperd during Viena meeting - and most of them liked it - it will be good for all PP activists to meet all as one community.

I think that while this is a good idea, we don't want to be associated with the vast
amounts of alcohol and drugs that just tend to show up at places like that. We are a
political movement, and we need to make sure that's how people perceive us.

My personal experience with the general view of political parties that use parties, alcohol
and drugs to promote themselves is that they're looked down upon.

Having a grand meeting with entertainment for pirates from all over is a good idea, but the
arrangement would have to be closer to what just happened in Vienna. Seminars,
courses, speakers and quiet socialising. Inviting independent record labels from all over
Europe, perhaps. Free software movement.

Gather all that is included in our politics at one place.

WOŚP is very antydrugy - look at the main slogan ("Miłość! Przyjaźń! Muzyka! Stop przemocy! Stop narkotykom!" means like "Love! Frendship! Music! Stop agressivnes! Stop Drugs!") and i know from expirience that thay realy do everything to make Woodstop (in Poland especcialy) look as the biggest festival and gathering of young ppl (thats our main target after all).

And there is also partial prohibition ... you can only drink light beer in special places.
