PPI Sends Delegates To The United Nations’ Internet Governance Forum

From October 7th to 12th PPI sent two of its board members, Alexander Isavnin and Keith Goldstein, to the UN’s Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Kyoto, Japan. They were joined by many other colleagues, some of whom are also Pirates formally and informally in Japan and around the world. The IGF fosters collaboration between organizations in order to shape the future of the internet. The event takes place each year in a different country. PPI Stand at the Internet Governance Forum; Dec 6 to 10 in Katowice, Poland

From December 6th to 10th the PPI will have its own stand (no. 29) at the UN’s Internet Governance Forum (IGF). If you’ll be in town, feel free to stop by and have a talk. Present at the stand will be some local Polish Pirates, as well as Gregory Engels, PPI vice-chair (Germany); Mike Gill, PPI general secretary (Czechia); Alexander Isavnin (Russia). Even Mikuláš Peksa, the Czech member of European Parliament will stop by from time to time. You’ll find us right between the stand of the OECD, Polish Ministry of Development and the Moscow Free University (pay them a visit as well). See you in Katowice!
