IMPORTANT: GENERAL ASSEMBLY POSTPONED

Dear Pirates,

We regret to inform you that the upcoming PPI General Assembly, which was originally set to take place this weekend, Saturday December 10th and Sunday December 11th 2022, will be postponed. The General Assembly will now take place during the weekend of January 28th and 29th 2023.

We deeply apologize for any stress or inconvenience this may bring to you all. We understand that this situation is not ideal and it wasn’t an easy decision, but for various reasons we feel as though it is the right decision in the long run.

The new deadline for statute amendments and member applications is Saturday, December 31st. There is no deadline to submit motions or nominate people for positions.

As a reminder, the following positions in PPI are up for election:

-1 Chairperson
-4 Board members
-1 Alternate board member
-3 Lay auditors
-6 Court of Arbitration members

All of the usual GA rules and logistics apply. We will meet in the same place on Mumble as we always do, and in the usual time frame: mumble.ppi.rocks, port 64738, in the room “Online GA” at 10:00 UTC/11:00 CET. All that is changing are the dates, now January 28th and 29th, and of course submission deadlines as previously stated.
