Campaigning during COVID-19: First SCENE meeting of 2021!

Dear Pirates, Now that the holidays are officially over, it is time to get back to work! We are excited to announce the first PPI Standing Committee meeting of 2021, which will be the Standing Committee on External Networking Engagement, aka SCENE! This committee is all about campaigning, outreach and public relations in the Pirate movement. The topic for this meeting will be ‘Campaigning during COVID-19‘. Starting off this week’s schedule is PPI’s board meeting Wednesday, December 2nd. You can find us at BigBlueButton starting at: 2:00pm CET / 1:00pm UTC / 8:00am EST An audio alternative for the board meeting is @PiratesOnAir‘s live stream piratesonair.net. PPI’s Online General Assembly will be held Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th. We will hold the GA on the PPI Mumble server: mumble.ppi.rocks, port 64738. Scroll down and click on the room “PPI Board,” and then another room called “Online GA.” This will be our meeting spot. Mumble is an audio-only conferencing service. There will be a pre-GA technical test Friday, November 6th, starting at 8:00pm CET.

There will be a technical test on November 6th to see if BigBlueButton will work for a General Assembly. The BBB channel can be found here. The times are: 8:00pm CET / 7:00pm UTC / 2:00pm EST It’s important all members send at least 1 delegate to this test. Anyone is welcome to attend and encouraged to do so in order to better test BigBlueButton for next month’s online General Assembly. The General Assembly will be held Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th. ANNOUNCEMENT: PPI General Assembly December 2020

Dear Pirates, It is almost the end of the year, and thus it is time to start preparing for our final General Assembly of 2020. We are pleased to announce that our end-of-year General Assembly will take place the first weekend of December: Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th, beginning at 10:00 UTC/11:00 CET both days.
