United States Pirates become the newest addition to the PPI family!

Happy 4th of July to our American friends and we’re also happy to announce that at our General Assembly on Saturday the United States Pirate Party became the newest member of the PPI family. The vote has been unanimous; all members present voted to bring the USPP into the fold. This brings the current number of Pirate Parties gathered within the PPI to 31. Welcome!

Reminder: PPI General Assembly This Weekend!

Dear Pirates, We are pleased to invite you to the mid-year General Assembly of Pirate Parties International, which will take place on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022! Happy Birthday Pirate Parties International!

Happy Birthday, PPI. After 12 years, we look forward to our teens. Currently, 54 organizations are members of Pirate Parties International. Membership in PPI is open to parties and other organizations. Individuals can also become supporting members. The goals of the association are: a) to act according to the major interests and goals of our members, b) to raise awareness and widen the spread of the pirate movement, c) to support the Pirate movement and strengthen its bonds internally and externally, and d) to promote and support human rights and fundamental freedoms. #Pirates4Ukraine: An International Pirate Campaign to support Ukrainian Refugees

  Pirate Parties International in collaboration with various PPI members are pleased to announce the official start of the ‘Pirates 4 Ukraine’ campaign. Pirates all over the world are devastated and angered by Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, the resulting humanitarian disaster, and the violence and repression towards both Ukrainians and anti-war activists in Russia. One of our brave colleagues and Chair of the Pirate Party of Norway, Svein Mork Dahl, is spending time at the Polish-Ukrainian border delivering aid to those who need it. This aid comes in a number of forms, be it food, housing, transportation, information and anything you might think of as being necessary for everyday survival. …
