INVITE: Pirate Aid for Ukraine

Dear Pirates, The PPI Board invites all of our members to join in a discussion and planning session around Pirate Aid for Ukraine. We would like to bring everyone together to coordinate our efforts on an international level to support Ukrainian refugees in a number of ways. This includes donations for medical supplies, food, travel expenses, as well as information sharing and infrastructure to support access to information. These are only a few examples of what is currently needed and what will be needed in the future. Invite: Introduction to PPI Standing Committees

Dear Pirates, You are hereby invited to join Pirate Parties International for our first working group event of the year, “Introduction to PPI Standing Committees”. We felt that before we start getting the Standing Committees going again, it would be a good idea to have an introductory session first. There are currently 5 PPI Standing Committees and as a group we will go through each one, explain its focus and have a discussion around what its individual tasks and goals should be. Hello Pirates, As you all know, this weekend (Saturday, January 8th and Sunday, January 9th) is the PPI General Assembly! We are very much looking forward to meeting with all of you again and having a productive and FUN weekend! Dear Pirates, It’s that time again! As we move into the final stretch of this year, it is time to start preparing for our main General Assembly of the year. Due to problems finding suitable dates in December this year, we are pleased to announce that the PPI General Assembly will take place on January 8th and 9th of 2022. Dear Pirates, We would like to invite you to a meeting of the SCENE committee on Wednesday, October 13th. The topic for this meeting is the Google Ad Grant [1] which PPI has been approved for, as well as an exchange of experiences about online advertisement by Pirate Parties in general. The Google Ad Grant is a grant of up to 10,000 USD per month in Google search ads for approved NGOs. It is a tool for gaining visibility and in turn, raising awareness and gaining support for one’s cause(s).
